Team Overview

Automatic Racing began in 2002, earning top-10 finishes right from the start. The Orlando, Florida-based team earned seven top-tens, including a second place and two thirds, during their first full season in 2003. The 2004 season presented some challenges, but six top-ten finishes and a third place led to seventh in the class championship.

Automatic Racing expanded to a two-car team in 2005, once again earning six top-tens during the season to give the No. 09 BMW the fifth spot in the championship.

The team expanded again for 2006, growing to a four-car effort. The No. 90 BMW was driven to seven top-10 finishes in just 10 races, including a second place and two third-place finishes, for sixth in the overall championship. The No. 09 BMW also tasted success with a third-place finish.

For 2008, Automatic Racing returns to the KONI Challenge Series with four BMW M3s as well as the first BMW M6 in the Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16.
