Biography

One of the defending Rolex 24 At Daytona co-winners in GT, Basseng returns to the Alegra Motorsports/Fiorano Racing Porsche GT3 team for the race with fellow co-winner Carlos de Quesada as well as Marc Lieb and Nathan Swartzbaugh.

Personal

Basseng enjoys fitness, wakeboarding and snowboarding in his spare time.

Racing Career

2007
Won Rolex 24 in GT class with Alegra Motorsports. Also finished second in 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Competed in FIA GT GT1 and GT2, Le Man Series and Porsche Supercup.

2006
Contested VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.

2005
Competed in ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup and VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft, finishing seventh in points in latter division.

2002
Finished third in Renault Clio V6 Germany standings.

2001
Garnered sixth in points in Renault Clio V6 Germany.

Finished third in Porsche Carrera Cup Germany points.
