Biography
Defending Rolex Series Daytona Prototype co-champion Pruett returns with teammate Memo Rojas to pilot the No. 01 TELMEX Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Lexus Riley. The pair finished second in the season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona with co-driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
Personal
Pruett won his eighth American sports car championships in 2008 – an U.S. record. He authored four children’s books: “Twelve Little Race Cars,” Twelve More Little Race Cars,” “Rookie Racer” and “Racing Through the Alphabet” with his wife, Judy. He has competed on road courses in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and was a 2002 Olympic Torchbearer.

Won record eighth American sports car championship in Rolex Series Daytona Prototype competition. Won series-leading six victories, including team's third consecutive Rolex 24 At Daytona win, with co-drivers Dario Franchitti, Juan Pablo Montoya and teammate Memo Rojas. Competed in NASCAR Nationwide Series.
2007
Broke record books as most winning Rolex driver and helped CGRFS become most winning Rolex team with 15 wins en route to second in driver point standings. Won Rolex 24 At Daytona with Montoya and Salvador Duran and teamed with Rojas to win at Iowa Speedway. Named to American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) All-America First Team for fourth straight season.
2006
Scored series-leading five victories en route to runner-up finish in Daytona Prototype point standings. No. 01 team claimed team championship. Became winningest driver in Daytona Prototype history with 12 career wins in class.
2005
Claimed three Rolex Series overall victories with Luis Diaz (California, Laguna Seca, VIR); runner-up in Daytona Prototype driver standings.
2004
Won Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype championship with co-driver Max Papis on strength of victories at Mont-Tremblant, the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Mid-Ohio and the season finale at California Speedway and a total of eight podium finishes. Started from the pole position four times. Was First Team selection AARWBA All-America Team.
