Biography

Defending Rolex Series GT class co-champion Edwards will once again pilot the No. 07 Banner Racing Pontiac GXP.R with Kelly Collins in 2009, marking his fifth season as a factory driver.

Personal

Edwards is factory driver for General Motors. He started racing karts at age 12, netting six championships – two Western USA and four California state – in four years with 45 race wins. He is a two-time Team USA Scholarship winner. He was a Red Bull Driver search Finalist and won Pilotte Elf Competition in France.

Won Rolex Series GT class championship with co-driver Kelly Collins. The duo scored a season-high four wins, as well as two podiums and six top-10 results.

2007
Finished second in Rolex Series GT class point standings with Collins, posting wins at Barber and Miller Motorsports Parks and close second in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

2006
Scored three Rolex Series GT class wins (Mexico, Homestead, Phoenix) alongside Kelly Collins for TRG, finishing tied for fifth in final point standings. Logged 11 top-10 finishes.

2005
Posted GT class win and pole at Phoenix and win at Mexico City in TRG's Pontiac GTO.R.

2004
Made two starts in Daytona Prototype for Crawford Racing, finishing fourth in both events.
