Biography

Former Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype co-champion Jon Fogarty rejoins teammate Alex Gurney in the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Pontiac Riley for the 2009 season. The pair will by joined by Jimmy Vasser and Jimmie Johnson for the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Personal

Fogarty dabbles with the bass guitar. His first races were on Big Wheels down a hill behind his childhood home.

Racing Career

2008
Finished second in Rolex Series Daytona Prototype championship. Teamed with Gurney to score one victory and eight top-five finishes, including Rolex 24 At Daytona podium. Voted into 35th Anniversary Atlantic Championship All-Star Team.

2007
Teamed with Gurney to win seven races - including three straight at one point - and 10 podiums overall en route to Rolex Series Daytona Prototype championship. Also qualified car for 11 races and landed eight pole positions in those efforts and named to American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) All-America First Team.

2006
Made seven Rolex Series starts, posting three podium finishes and seven top-10 results.

2005
Made his Rolex Series debut, finishing 13th in the GT class in the Rolex 24.
